New York neighborhoods The streets of New York are a vortex of energy--its colorful people, classical buildings, and how the two interact make great fodder for my silk paintings. In decent (i.e. nothing pelting me or blowing around) I'll bring out an easel and some stretched silk and paints, or let my digital camera do the capturing for later. Nothing too touristy: just what us locals call home, while it's still recognizable. All my paintings are from real life, verbatim. These paintings--ranging from wall-hangings to silk-on-canvas to painted photos--range from 10"x12" small paintings to about 45"x45". Prices upon request. Home
